This Sunday, all around America, in all sorts of different churches, there will most likely be a message reminding us of the tragedy that took place ten years ago. It was an unthinkable act! An act that left us with many questions, questions that we may not want to ask and answers that we may not want to hear. The fact of the matter is - we continually strive to establish peace in a world where there will never be peace. History has proven that. There has always been conflict and there will always be conflict because we are people who are greedy, selfish and self serving. Unless something drastic happens, you can count on the future here on earth being the same as it has been for the past several thousand years. Wars, unthinkable acts of violence, slavery of others, murder, theft, and the like – is here to stay. It’s time we face the truth – we are generally people who serve ourselves, and will do whatever we need to in order to feed our greed.

I am convinced that there is really only one solution, one drastic change that is needed for the world. It is not global economic stability, nor is it putting people back to work. It is not pushing human rights, as important as that is, nor is it democracy or creating a capitalistic world system to put opportunity into the hands of people. It is rather a simple solution that yields tremendous fruit. This fruit is seen as peace, Joy, thinking of others before yourself, and serving for the good of those who are less fortunate. Not flying planes into building to kill those who you despise. This solution is what many who built this great nation understood as fundamental to living. That was…. without Christ there is NO peace. I understand that You cannot force people to accept Christ, but until people choose to believe that He is the Savior of the World and Lord of All we are doomed to continually repeat history. This is the drastic change that is needed. But it will not happen globally – the Bible tells us it won’t happen. But it will happen to some individuals. So for those who know Him as Lord, get ready and stand firm because as we stand firm, living on the truth of God’s word, and proclaiming His plan of redemption, there will be some who will respond to His message and will be transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Light! This kingdom is where Christ rules and it is the place we were created for.

for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine.
