Young Travelers – Grades 3 – 5

Welcome!

Our Class has five wonderful 3rd through 5th graders, with occasional visitors. Using the online curriculum Kids Sunday School Place as our guide, we have covered topics such as God’s protection, our growth, prayer, praise, wisdom, and some great lessons from Joshua. The holidays are coming up, so there will be lessons correlating with those special seasons. Much time is given to memory verses each week as we try to emphasize the importance of hiding God’s word in our hearts. How we long for our children to understand what an awesome God we have…His majesty, grace, and love…and that we can personally have a supernatural relationship with Him through Christ’s finished work on the cross in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Ongoing Activities

• Focus Youth group - 9th -12th grade meet every Wednesday night at either the church building or at Grace and Truth from 6:30-8pm...check Facebook each week for specific info

• Middle School Youth group girls - 6, 7th and 8th grade meet at Beth Stoltzfus's house every other Monday evening at 7:15pm to 9pm. (March 12, 26)

• Monthly work day from 8:30am-3pm. The next one is June 23th. All are welcome!

Upcoming Events

• P2-4 - Join us for our prayer time the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month from 7-8pm!!

• Soup and Pretzel ministry Fridays 4:30-6:30pm

• Join us on Sunday evenings at the church for a Bible study from 7-8pm.

• Put June 10th on your calendar for our Next Lunch at Living Rock (not June 3rd). See details below.

• We are having 2 Fundraisers for Missions in June:
1. Don't miss our Yard Sale and Chicken BBQ on Saturday June 9th.
This fundraiser will be by donation and you can help by donating items for the sale or coming to shop!
Support Missions!!
2. Our Lunch for June will be a Taco fundraiser for those going on the Reach trip. This will also be by donation. See you there!!!

• As a followup to the Courageous Movie showings there will be a 4 week men's Bible starting Thursday May 17th at 7pm.

Mark your calendar for an Open House picnic on Saturday August 4th!! We will be inviting the community to help us celebrate the completion of our renovations.

VBS is scheduled for August 12-16 so mark your calendar and check back for more summer plans...
